Conference weekend we headed south. We enjoyed visiting my parents. My Dad is recovering from several strokes. He is doing amazing and is getting around on his own again.
Dave was a big help to them. We also enjoyed all 4 sessions of conference. I was surprised that my parents watched intently all the sessions with us.
When we returned Jon and Emilie called. They are in need of help. Elisabeth and I are leaving Tuesday at their request to care for Aubrey. What a joy and blessing grandchildren are.
My cousins also called to inquire about the polygamist mess in Texas. I am glad they called me so I could assure them it is wrong and not at all part of our beliefs. Abuse of any kind is not Christian. They also want to know more about the Church.
